President of Turkmenistan held extended session of the Cabinet of Minsiters where outcomes of social and economic development of the country for the last year have been discussed as well as personnel issues have been reviewed.

To successfully continue the agricultural reforms ongoing in the country; to distribute crops by classes with regard to natural conditions (soil, climate) in the provinces and districts; and to boost agricultural production through introduction of evidence-based crop rotation and by increasing crop yield, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution approving the 2019 Plan for Crop Zoning in the provinces.

At the session of the Government on February 1, the Head of the state addressed the participants with the speech characterizing the outcomes of 2018 and outlining priority objectives of the country in current year.

With a view to ensuring further cotton growth on the basis of rational use of land, water, agricultural machinery and mineral fertilizers, and promotion of high-quality agro-technical measures in every province of the country, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution authorizing the Ministry of Agriculture and Nature Protection, the Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary provincial administrations to:

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution approving the Program of Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2019-2025.

By the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Yazmyradov, Annageldi Orazberdiyevich, was appointed Chairman of the State Committee for Water Resources of Turkmenistan.

By the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Bayramdurdyyev, Magtymguly, was appointed Minister of Agriculture and Nature Protection of Turkmenistan.

By the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Rejepov, Resul Shihdurdyyevich, was appointed Minister of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan.
