President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held offsite session of the State Security Council where outcomes of the activity of military and law enforcement departments for the first quarter of 2018 have been summed up and the main directions of work of the security forces in the near future have been specified.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the participants of the international scientific conference “The Chemical Industry of Turkmenistan on the Way of Progress” held in Ashgabat on the occasion of the Chemical Industry Workers’ Day that is celebrated in our country for the first time. Congratulating all those present on the beginning of the forum, the Turkmen leader expressed belief that the forum would be of great importance for the reciprocal exchange of experience.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a speech to the deputy corps of the first session of the Mejlis of the sixth convocation.

The Centre of Non-governmental Organizations held the first session of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the sixth convocation with the participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. During the session, new leaders of National Parliament were elected and priority objectives of the deputy corps of the country were outlined.
