To bring up the administrative and territorial division of Ashgabat to modern standards; to aggregate municipal districts; in the light of a request by the Ashgabat City Administration and proposal by the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan; under the Law of Turkmenistan “On Procedures of Resolving Issues of Administrative and Territorial Division of Turkmenistan”, the National Parliament of Turkmenistan has decided:

Regular 26th session of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fifth convocation where number of new laws and bills were adopted took place. Members of the Government, heads of relative ministries and departments, hyakims of Ashgabat and Ahal Velayat, representatives of mass media were invited to participate in the session.

According to the Resolutions of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Jumageldy Garayev was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Automobile Transport;

Prime Minister of Japan Sindzo Abe, the King of Morocco Mohammed VI, theGreat Duke of Luxemburg Henri addressed New Year greetings and best wishes of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Turkmen nation.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed the congratulations to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the countries.

The head of state Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov have signed Decrees that sanctioned the following appointments:

Sheikh of the State of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas, and President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko have wished a Happy New Year 2018 to President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.

By the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Annageldy Garajayev was severely reprimanded for unsatisfactory fulfilment of his duties and loosening of control over the activity of the structures under his supervision with the last warning to correct the shortcomings as soon as possible.
