President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the representative delegation of the United Arab Emirates, headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Minister of Energy of the UAE Suhail Mohammed Faraj Al Mazroui, Minister of Infrastructure Development of the UAE Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi and Director General of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development Mohamed Saif Al Suwaidi took part in the meeting.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session in video conference format with the participation of the hyakims of the velayats and Ashgabat city where the issues of social and economic development of the country, situation in the agriculture as well as preparation to coming celebration events were reviewed.

Work of the State Commission on Ensuring Food Security has been discussed at the session of the Government of Turkmenistan.

The national system of accounting and financial reporting will be brought into compliance with the current international standards. To this end, during 2018 it is planned to conduct preparatory activities, including the development of guidelines, the introduction of software and organization of seminars with the participation of experts from leading financial institutions.

According to the Law of Turkmenistan on Copyrights and Neighbouring Rights, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having approved the Regulation on Tax Collection for the procedures of the registration of the copyrights, List of such procedures as well as fees of the collection.

According to the Resolution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Yazguly Mammedov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Malaysia was appointed as the Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand at the same time.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where actual issues of domestic and foreign policy of the State were reviewed as well as important decisions in social and economic life of the country were made.

After being recognized as a permanently neutral country on December 12, 1995, Turkmenistan has become a guarantor of stability in the region. The fact that the United Nations General Assembly declared December 12 as International Neutrality Day on your initiative is seen as the recognition of Your country’s contribution to maintaining peace and stability both in the region and in the world. Turkey will continue to support the policy of neutrality carried out by You, – the President of the Republic of Turkey Rejep Tayyip Erdogan said in his message.

Turkmenistan having huge natural resources is recognized in the world as large producer of energy resources, which we use for further improvement of the life level of our people and for the provision of happy future of the entire humankind.
