The Mejlis of Turkmenistan adopted the resolutions on the joining to the Protocols related to the amendments of the articles 50 (a) and the 56th Convention of International Civil Aviation, on joining to the Convention for the Unification of the Rules of International Air Traffic, on joining to the Convention on Protection of Cultural Values during Military Conflicts as well as to its Protocols of 1954 and 1999.

“I wish you great success in important work on implementing the customs policy of our independent country, on safeguarding its economic security and national interests”, states the congratulatory address by the head of state.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a meeting with his Tajik colleague on the second day of his official visit to Tajikistan.

Acording to the Resolutions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Dovranberdy Annaberdiyev is appointed as the Deputy Minister of Finances and Economy of Turkmenistan and Atajan Byashimov is appointed as the Deputy Hyakim of the city of Kaahka of Ahal Velayat.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is currently on official visit to Dushanbe, had a meeting with Shukurjon Zukhurov, the Chairman of Lower Chamber of the Parliament of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Majlisi Namoyandagon.

While on the official visit to the city of Dushanbe, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has visited the National Museum of Tajikistan. The head of state was warmly welcomed by the museum director Abduvali Sharifzoda and staff at the entrance.

“It gives me great pleasure to offer Your Excellency the warmest congratulations on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence on behalf of the people, the Government of India, and personally,” the Indian leader’s message to President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov states.

At the end of the document signing ceremony, the Heads of two states addressed the representatives of mass media.

It was observed during Turkmen – Tajik talks that having considerable potential of trade and economic partnership the sides do not use completely. It was highlighted that Turkmenistan and Tajikistan have capabilities for expansion of the volumes of trade, investment, implementation of joint projects in different spheres as well for entering new perspective directions of cooperation.
