President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is currently on official visit to Dushanbe, had a meeting with Shukurjon Zukhurov, the Chairman of Lower Chamber of the Parliament of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Majlisi Namoyandagon. The importance of yesterday bilateral high-level talks that opened new chapter in the history of traditionally friendly interstate dialog has been highlighted. It was mentioned that achieved agreements and documents signed by the outcomes of the talks demonstrate high level of trust and mutual interest in further development and consolidation of our relations. Turkmen leader also noted that for the past period, both states gained considerable and positive practice of fruitful cooperation. It allows building long-term perspective in the context of further dynamic development of trade and economic partnership, intensification of cultural, scientific and educational relations. At the same time, consolidation of cooperation between legislative powers of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tajikistan are very important, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted. We are interested in establishment of solid relations between our legislative bodies for sharing of the experience and mutual enrichment in this sphere, the Head of the State continued. Such cooperation will allow us establishing reliable legal base for successful realization of the state programmes for social and economic development of our countries.
