President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held the next working meeting via the direct video communication with participation of khyakims of velayats and Ashgabat city. Discussion of state of affairs in regions, the course of seasonal agricultural activities as well realisation of transformation programs for systematic increase of social standards of living of population took place.

Mejlis of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting with members of representative delegation of the People’s Republic of China, arrived on a working visit, headed by Deputy Chairman of the P.R.C. National People’s Congress, General Secretary of its Standing Committee, Mr. Wang Chen.

As stated by the observers who have monitored the elections, they became yet another important step towards strengthening the democratic foundation of the Turkmen society, and reflected the citizens’ active involvement in state affairs.
