President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived on working visit in Turkmenistan by the invitation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the president of the University of Tsukuba (Japan), Nagata Kyosuke. The guest expressed his deep appreciation for the time, and stressed that he was delighted to have yet another meeting with the Turkmen leader whose constructive initiatives are supported worldwide, including Emperor Akihito and Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe. This was confirmed during mutual high-level visits.

President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov left for a working trip to the Balkan velayat, where the meeting of the Turkmen leader with his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev was scheduled.

Delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Legislation and its Norms, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, took part in the plenary session of the 9th International Economic Summit “Russia – Islamic World: KazanSummit–2017”.

The delegation headed by the Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Legislation and its Norms, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, has arrived in Kazan to participate in the plenary session of the 9th International Economic Summit “Russia – Islamic World: KazanSummit–2017”, and met with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.

Having announced the agenda, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave floor to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan B. Hojamammedov who reported on the work for draft of the State Budget for 2018. It was informed that at present moment, the order of preparation of relative data and calculations necessary for development of the main financial document of the country is completed as well as the deadlines for submission of the documents are set.

President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov will hold talks with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who will be on a working visit in Turkmenistan on May 19-20 this year.

With the purpose of further development of trade and economic partnership between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Moldova, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, having approved the composition of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Moldovan Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation for the Turkmen part.

With the purpose of further development of partnership between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Belarus, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, having approved the composition of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Belarusian Commission on Economic Cooperation for the Turkmen part.

Governor of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia of the Republic of Moldova Irina Vlach expressed sincere gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov for his contribution to development of the social infrastructure in the region.
