Speaking at the international sports congress in Avaza, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that today the rejection of racism, xenophobia, and extremism has become one of the slogans of world sports firmly embedded in the ideology of the international sports movement.

Avaza. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received President of the Asian Olympic Committee Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah who arrived for participation in International Sport Congress “Asian Games 2017: International Sport Cooperation for Peace and Progress”.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov went on a working trip to Balkan velayat, during which he is expected to take part in the International Congress “Asian Games 2017: International Sport Cooperation for Peace and Progress”.

Speaking during the enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on April 5, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov considered the results achieved by the ministries and sectoral departments of the country within the first quarter of the current year.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent deep condolences to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in relation with explosion on subway line Sennaya Square – Technological Institute caused numerous human casualties and injuries.

Work results of military and law enforcement agencies for the first quarter of the year are discussed during the session of the State Security Council held by President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

By the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Shatlyk Devletmyradovich Purmammedov is appointed as the Director of Yashlyk TV and Radio Channel of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography.
