President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Government Deputy Chairman of the Republic of Slovenia, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Karl Erjavec, arrived in Ashgabat at the head of a representative delegation of his country to participate in a regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Slovenian Trade-Economic Cooperation Commission.

The ‘round-table’ meeting held in the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan brought together the specialist of ministries and departments as well as leading international agencies of the UN and EU.

For realization of bilateral relations achieved by Turkmenistan and the Republic of Slovenia as well as for further development of relations between two countries, the president of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution approving the Turkmen members of Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which reviewed drafts of several documents, and discussed topical issues of state life.

Official visit to Turkmenistan of the President of the Republic of Belarus is scheduled for 29-31 March.

President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received credentials from newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine to Turkmenistan, Hossein Ali Mostafa Gunnam.

In the Mejlis of Turkmenistan a meeting was held with representatives of the delegation that arrived in the Turkmen capital, headed by Parliament Deputy of the Kingdom of Denmark, Chairman of the Danish Delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE, Mr. Peter Juel Jensen.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov sent deep condolences to Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Elizabeth II and Prime Minister of the country Teresa May over the terrorist act in London that resulted in human casualties and injuries.

Regular nineteenth meeting of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fifth convocation took place in Ashgabat, which resulted in adoption of a number of laws and normative legal acts. The draft legislative acts submitted for consideration were unanimously approved and adopted by the national parliament.
