It was opened the building of the Executive Committee of the International Fund for saving the Aral Sea (IFAS). On June 16, the decision on creation of this structure was signed at the government session by the President of IFAS, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.

President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the country’s Armed Forces, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, signed the Decree on Pardoning the Convicted Persons on the Occasion of the Holy Night of Gadyr gijesi, pursuant to which 1029 Turkmenistan nationals will be freed from further serving their sentence.

President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov signed a decree on the establishment of the Institute of Communal Services of Turkmenistan. According to the document, the new institute was transferred to the Ministry of Communal Services of Turkmenistan.

During working trip, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was accompanied by the Head of the capital administration Sh. Durdyliyev.

On the occasion of the Science Day, Ashgabat hosted the solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the annual competition of scientific works among young people, conducted by the Central Council of the Youth Organization named after Makhtumkuli jointly with the Academy of Sciences. Honoring the winners was held in the conference hall of the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli.

In Ashgabat the international scientific conference «Science, technics and innovative technologies in the epoch of happiness» opened. The forum dated to Day of Science, brought together besides Turkmen scientists, teachers and young researchers of representatives of scientific circles from tens of other countries.

Turkmen aviators plan to open regular connection in near future with the Republic of Tajikistan that has traditionally friendly relations with our country.

The Media Forum ""Asian Games in the World Press"" was held in Mary. It gathered representatives of the International Sports Press Association (AISP), the sports press associations of Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Mongolia, Hong Kong, large media companies ""Triwandi Çanzo"", ""Gilmore business network"", ""Laurel"" And the television media ""PTV news"", ""Media Lusa"", the State TV and Radio Company of Belarus. Participants also included representatives of relevant departments and media of Turkmenistan. The solid composition of the delegates of the media forum attests to the great interest in the international information space for the Asian Games-2017.
