In Beijing, in the building of the Trade Mission at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in China, a presentation and opening of a thematic exhibition timed to a 100-day countdown was held prior to the opening of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat.

Ashgabat has hosted a regular meeting of the Interstate Commission for Sustainable Development (ICSD) of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea (IFAS), organized by the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Environmental Protection and Land Resources as part of our country’s chairmanship of the IFAS in 2017-2019.

In the Turkmen capital the Central Asian international ecological forum «Initiative for cooperation in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development in Central Asia» dated to World Environment Day. A three-day forum is devoted to climate change and rational use of water and has a value in the context of sustainable development of Central Asia.

Exposition hall of the Trade and Industrial Chamber opened International exhibition “Turkmen Textile 2017” timed to the Day of Textile industry Worker traditionally observed on the first Sunday in June.

The next session of the interdepartmental commission for maintenance of implementation of international obligations of our state in the field of human rights and international humanitarian right took place. Representatives of the Mejlis, several ministries and departments, law enforcement bodies, public organisations took part in the meeting at the Turkmen national institute of democracy and human rights at the President of Turkmenistan.

Today the twenty first session of the fifth convocation of the Mejlis in which a number of laws and regulatory legal acts were adopted, took place. For participation in the session representatives of related ministries and departments and also mass media were invited.

The season of children's summer vacation has started in Turkmenistan. Tens of thousands of children will rest for the summer and gain strength in the children's health centers of the country.

A meeting was held in Ashgabat with the participation of the leaders and executive officials of the military and law enforcement agencies, the main topic of which was the discussion of the most important tasks faced by the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes created in accordance with the Decree issued by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.
