Amount of Exchange Transactions Exceeds 110.5 million US Dollars

48 transactions were registered past week at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. Entrepreneurs from Russia, Great Britain, United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan etc. purchased, in foreign currency, jet fuel, liquefied gas, polypropylene, hydrotreated diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries. Gasoline produced at the Seydi Oil Refinery, and technical sulfur (Turkmengas State Concern) were bought by businessmen from the UAE and Turkey. Moreover, cotton batting, bleached cotton fibers, clear sheet glass and Portland cement were sold in foreign currency. The Russian Federation, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan were the buyer countries. The total value of transactions exceeded 110.5 million US dollars. Refined cotton-seed oil, cotton yarn and products manufactured by enterprises of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan worth over 2 million 172 thousand manats were purchased in local currency by businessmen from Russia, Great Britain and Pakistan.
