On the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Gulshat Mammedova received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentina to Turkmenistan Ricardo Ernesto Lagorio. On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, the head of the National Parliament congratulated the guest on the appointment to the high diplomatic post and wished him every success in strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the two countries. Thanking for the kind words, the Ambassador underlined that he considered it an honour to carry out the entrusted mission in the peacemaking country and would apply every effort to promote the interstate dialogue. During the meeting, Ricardo Ernesto Lagorio was informed on the key areas of the internal policy of Turkmenistan and the ambitious reforms taken place in the country. The diplomat got acquainted with the structure and diversified work of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, its role in the democratic changes. Demonstrating keen interest in the achievements of dynamically developing Turkmenistan, the Ambassador expressed belief in the availability of the multifaceted potential for the development of the interstate relations.
