In accordance with the Decree of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Major General B. Gundogdyev is appointed as the Minister of Defense. Due to a transfer to another appointment, Major General B. Gundogdyev is released from the position of the Head of the State Frontier Service of Turkmenistan - Commander-in-Chief of the Border Security Forces.
