In accordance with the Decree of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Secretary of the State Security Council Yaylym Berdiyev is appointed as the Minister of National Security. Due to a transfer to another appointment, Secretary of the State Security Council Yaylym Berdiyev is released from the position as the Minister of Defense.
