15 transactions were registered past week at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. Businessmen from the UK and Switzerland purchased, in foreign currency, lighting kerosene produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries. Knitted goods, household cotton, cotton fiber, licorice roots and rhizomes, Portland cement and clear sheet glass were also sold in foreign currency. Russia, Turkey, the UAE, Uzbekistan were the buyer countries. The total value of transactions exceeded 13 million 193 thousand U.S. dollars. Weaving yarn worth 400 thousand manats was purchased in local currency by businessmen from the United Arab Emirates. Cotton fiber and polypropylene film worth 803 thousand manats were purchased by local entrepreneurs for the domestic market.
