44 transactions were registered past week at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and others purchased, in foreign currency, diesel oil produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries and the Seydi Oil Refinery; businessmen from the USA and the UAE bought carbamide (Turkmenhimiya State Concern), while representatives of Turkey’s business community purchased technical sulphur (Turkmengas State Concern). Motor transport, packaging containers, clear sheet glass, Portland cement, cotton yarn were also sold in foreign currency. Russia, UK, UAE, Hong Kong, Turkey, Afghanistan, Estonia, Scotland, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan were the buyer countries. The total value of transactions exceeded 35 million 587 thousand US dollars. Cotton yarn and cotton seed cakes worth over 18 million 56 thousand manats were purchased in local currency by businessmen from Russia, UAE, Turkey, Switzerland, Pakistan. Construction machinery and cotton fiber worth 32 million 841 thousand manats were purchased by local entrepreneurs for the domestic market.
