40 transactions were registered past week at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. Businessmen from the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Estonia, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan purchased, in foreign currency, road bitumen produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries; businessmen from the Russian Federation bought high-density polyethylene and polypropylene made at the Kiyanly Polymer Plant. Carbamide produced by Turkmenhimiya State Concern was purchased by businessmen from the UK, UAE, Afghanistan and others. Cotton yarn, terry cloth, household cotton, Portland cement, bath salt and cosmetic clay were sold in foreign currency. The Russian Federation, Turkey, UAE, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan were the buyer countries. The total value of transactions exceeded 33 million 274 thousand US dollars. Cotton yarn worth over 15 million 553 thousand manats was purchased by businessmen from the UK, Canada and China in local currency. Cotton fiber worth 315 thousand manats was purchased by local entrepreneurs for the domestic market.
