Silkworm breeders in the eastern region of the country reported on the fulfillment of the contractual obligations. More than 960 tons of high-quality silkworm cocoons - raw material for the textile industry were delivered to the Lebap Velayat receiving points. Silkworm breeders in the Halach, Chardjev, Sayat, and Kerki etraps were the first in the velayat to fulfill their contractual obligations. Thus, silkworm breeders in the Halach etrap produced 212 tons of valuable industrial raw material, silkworm breeders in the Chardjev etrap - 170 tons, silkworm breeders in the Sayats etrap - more than 115 tons of cocoons. The industrial sector of the Lebap Velayat Ready is ready to receive and process the raw materials of the new crop. Turkmenabat silk production association is equipped with automated lines and the latest equipment. Silk yarns produced at this plant with a thickness of less than 30 microns meet the highest international standards. They are widely used at the association for the production of silk fabrics and carpets, as well as exported to the world market.
