In order to prepare and ensure the participation of the national teams of Turkmenistan in the 23rd Summer Olympic and 17^th Summer Paralympic Games, which will be held in Paris of the French Republic in 2024, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree according to which the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy is prescribed:

- to ensure the preparation and participation of the national teams of Turkmenistan in the 23rd Summer Olympic and 17^th Summer Paralympic Games, which will be held in Paris of the French Republic in 2024;

- jointly with the relevant ministries and industry departments to develop and approve a program for the comprehensive preparation of the national picked teams of the country for the 23rd Summer Olympic and 17^th Summer Paralympic Games to be held in Paris of the French Republic in 2024, as well as an action plan for its implementation;

- to conduct training sessions and gatherings of the national teams of Turkmenistan in sports in the capital’s Olympic city and the Avaza Sports Complex.

According to the document, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ashgabat city Khyakimlik are instructed to provide the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy with appropriate sports objects and facilities for conducting training sessions and training camps of national teams.

The relevant ministries and sectoral departments are instructed to assist the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy in implementing the measures provided for in the relevant program and plan.
