In order to successfully implement the “State Program to increase the volume of exports of products manufactured in Turkmenistan” and the Saglyk State Program of the President of Turkmenistan, to establish the production of medicines competitive on the world market on the basis of environmentally friendly local raw materials, the President of Turkmenistan signed a decree.

According to the document, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan is allowed to conclude a contract with the Mizemez gadam individual enterprise for the construction and improvement of the adjacent territory of an enterprise producing 390 tons of unrefined glycyrrhizic acid per year by processing licorice root in the structure of the Buýan agro-industrial complex named after S.A.Niyazov of the Turkmendermansenagat Association of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan in the city of Turkmenabat of Lebap velayat, with the condition of designing, reconstruction or construction of external supply engineering systems and facilities of electric, gas, water supply, communications and sewerage systems new for this enterprise, and their connection to the citywide network.

The document prescribes to begin construction work in January 2022 and to hand over the enterprise with full readiness for operation in January 2024.
