As it was noted, the active work of the Turkmen-Austrian Society established in November 2008, under which the Galkynysh website is open and the Galkynysh magazine is published, as well as the Days of Culture regularly held in Ashgabat and Vienna, performances of the Galkynysh Joint Symphony Orchestra in Europe, Viennese Balls in the Turkmen capital and other creative events are an illustrative example of fruitful cooperation between the parties in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.

Expressing gratitude to the head of the Turkmen-Austrian Society for the efforts made in bringing the two countries and their peoples closer, as well as objective coverage of the events taking place in Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh noted with satisfaction that the constructive Turkmen-Austrian dialogue based on the principles of mutual respect and trust maintains good dynamics of development.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that Turkmenistan and the Republic of Austria successfully cooperate not only in a bilateral format, but also within international structures, as evidenced by mutual support for international initiatives and proposals put forward within the framework of reputable organizations of global and regional scale.

In this context, the role of the Turkmen-Austrian Society, whose membership includes the heads of the largest Austrian companies specializing in various fields, was once again highlighted.

A separate topic of discussion was the development of inter-parliamentary relations, the deepening of which indicates the mutual intention of the parties to further expand fruitful cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.

Emphasizing that Turkmenistan highly appreciates friendly bilateral relations with the Republic of Austria, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished the head of the Turkmen-Austrian Society Ms. Neda Berger sound health, prosperity and further success.
