The President of Turkmenistan received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkmenistan Azizbek Madmarov, who presented his credentials to the head of state.

Having expressed his gratitude for the given time and an opportunity for a personal meeting to discuss topical issues of bilateral cooperation, the diplomat conveyed warm words of greeting from President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, who addressed the wishes of happiness and prosperity to all the Turkmen people. As Azizbek Madmarov underlined, it is a great honour for him to represent his country in Turkmenistan, with which the Kyrgyz Republic enjoys traditionally friendly, brotherly relations, which assume more concrete shape in the modern epoch.

Having conveyed reciprocally warm words of greeting to the head of the Kyrgyz Republic, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the diplomat with his appointment to this responsible post and wished him sound health, wellbeing, and great success in his responsible diplomatic post for the benefit of further strengthening of the constructive Turkmen-Kyrgyz dialogue.

Further, in the meeting the head of the state and Kyrgyz diplomat exchanged views of the future of bilateral cooperation taking into account its multifaceted potential. As was pointed out, fruitful cooperation aimed at the benefit of two friendly peoples, actively develops in the light of turnover of trade and economic sphere, transport, transport infrastructure, energy, agriculture implementation of investment projects, as well as in spheres of science, education, culture, sports and tourism. Regular contacts at the level of MFA of two countries facilitate development of potential of political and diplomatic interaction.

In realization of existing opportunities for development of mutually beneficial trade and economic relation on a long-term basis a significant role is attached to the joint interstate commission for trade, economic, scientific and technical and humanitarian cooperation called to facilitate intensification of fruitful contracts in various sectors as well as in the private sectors. In addition to it, significance of further deepening of interaction in the humanitarian and cultural spheres was pointed out.

It was marked that closeness of approaches and positions on topical issues of international policy directly serves as a favourable ground for intensification of Turkmen-Kyrgyz cooperation at different levels. As known, our states stand for maintenance and strengthening of stability and security in Central Asia and promotion of age-old traditions and good neighbourhood in the region.

Having underlined that expansion of multifaceted dialogue with neighbouring countries, including with the Kyrgyz Republic, is one of the priorities of the foreign policy of neutral Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence in further steady development of bilateral relations based on commonality of history, cultural and spiritual values of brotherly peoples. 

Having expressed his sincere acknowledgment for the fruitful exchange of views of a wide range of issues of mutual interest, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkmenistan Azizbek Madmarov assured the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov from his part that he would contribute to the further strengthening of interstate cooperation that meets the interests of the both two countries and their peoples and sustainable development in the region as a whole.
