Decree of the President of Turkmenistan

On the transfer to the reserve military men who serve under conscription from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan, and the next conscription of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service

In accordance with the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the Law of Turkmenistan “On Military Duty and Military Service” I hereby order:

1. Transfer to the reserve military men who serve under conscription and have served their time established by the Law of Turkmenistan “On Military Duty and Military Service” from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan in April-June 2023.

2. Conscript for military service male citizens of Turkmenistan under 27 years of age who did not have the right to exemption or deferment from conscription for military service, have reached the age of 18 by the day of the conscription, and who lost the right to deferment from conscription for military service in April-June 2023.

3. This Decree comes into force on the date of its publication.

In pursuance of the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 190 of March 15, 2023 “On the transfer to the reserve military men who serve under conscription from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan, and the next conscription of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service”

On dismissal of the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan, military personnel under military service, and the next draft of Turkmenistan citizens for military service”, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed an Order according to which the Minister of Defense of Turkmenistan, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Minister of National Security of Turkmenistan, the Chief of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan, the Chief of the Security Service of the President of Turkmenistan, the Chairman of the State Migration Service of the Turkmenistan are instructed to organize the transfer to the reserve of military men who have served their time established by the Law of Turkmenistan “On Military Duties and Military Service” in a festive atmosphere according to the plans of transfer, and reward excellent soldiers in combat and social-humanitarian training.
