In order to further reform the agricultural sector of the country in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of a powerful state, increase the volume of agricultural production, as well as ensure the cultivation of generous rice crops, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution «On the production of rice in Turkmenistan in 2023».

According to the document of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, the hakimliks of the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats are instructed, using scientifically based crop rotation, in accordance with the requirements of agricultural technology, to ensure the production of a rich harvest of rice in the Saparmyrat Turkmenbashy etrap of the Dashoguz velayat, in Darganata, Danev, Charjev, Sayat, Halach, Hojambaz, Kerki and Koytendag etraps of the Lebap velayat.
