Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yazmyradov, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and the hyakims of velayats, during which the dynamics of work in the country’s agricultural lands and other issues were considered.

The floor was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim Ya. Gurbanov, who reported on the course of seasonal field campaigns.

As was reported, treatment activities are currently under way in wheat fields, in particular, watering and application of mineral fertilizers. Measures are taken to complete the cotton sowing in time.

Care is taken for potatoes, onions and other crops in accordance with the agro-technical requirements. The silkworm cocoons production season is well organized.

Information was provided on the construction pace of various facilities scheduled for commissioning this year as part of the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the transformation of social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period up to 2028.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of a responsible and comprehensive approach to agricultural campaigns.

In this regard, the head of state instructed the khyakim to keep under strict control the timeliness and quality of seasonal field works, compliance with agro-technical standards for the care of wheat and other crops, and ordered to organize the cocoons production within the target time frame and according to plans.

The kyakim was instructed to control the construction of social and industrial facilities to be commissioned this year under the National Rural Program.

Then the Balkan Velayat Khyakim T. Atahallyev reported on the pace of seasonal field operations in the region.

Agricultural machinery has been operated at full capacity in order to complete the cotton sowing within agro-technical terms, and wheat care continues. Potatoes, onions and other crops are cared for in accordance with agro-technical standards. At the same time, silkworm eggs are taken care of in an organized manner in order to fulfill the plans.

Information was provided on the construction progress of social and industrial facilities scheduled for commissioning the current year as part of the Program for socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

Having heard to the report, the head of the state emphasized that the future bountiful harvests depend on the quality and timeliness of the seasonal field works being carried out today, instructing the khyakim to control these issues.

Separate instructions applied to the completion of the cotton sowing on schedule, the care for potatoes, onions and other vegetables.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the provisions outlined in the National Rural Program, ordering to control the quality and terms of construction work at facilities to be commissioned this year.

Then Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim N. Nazarmyradov reported on the pace of seasonal field campaigns in the northern region of the country.

As was reported, heat is cared for in compliance with the agro-technical requirements. Appropriate measures are taken to complete the cotton sowing in a timely manner.

For this purpose, all agricultural machines are operated at full capacity. Potatoes, onions and other crops are cared for in the velayat. The silkworm cocoons production season is organized at the proper level.

Then Mary Velayat Khyakim D. Annaberdiev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work.

As was reported, these days, measures are taken in the region to operate the agricultural machinery and equipment at full capacity in order to successfully complete the cotton sowing in accordance withing the agro-technical terms. Along with this, wheat, as well as potatoes, onions and other crops are cared for in compliance with the agro-technical requirements.

Necessary measures are taken in the velayat to successfully fulfill the silkworm cocoons production plan.

As was reported, at present, cotton sowing is in progress everywhere, the agricultural machinery is effectively operated, and agro-technical measures are taken in a timely manner.

Along with this, treatment of wheat fields are under way in accordance with agro-technical standards, in particular, application of mineral fertilizers, watering and other related operations.

The deputy prime minister also informed about measures to increase the production of potatoes, other vegetables and fruits in the country, and provide the population with these products. Silkworm lava are cared for in Akhal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary velayats, and cocoon producers in Dashoguz velayat are supplied with high-quality eggs.

Moreover, efforts are currently made in the country’s velayats to protect crops and pastures from pests, carry out preventive measures at the places of their possible appearance, as well as to monitor this work on a daily basis.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need for a responsible and comprehensive approach to agricultural campaigns, which must be completed with high quality and within agro-technical terms.

In this regard, the head of state instructed the deputy prime minister to maintain a high organizational level of control over the rational use of water resources when sowing cotton, caring for wheat, potatoes, onions and other crops in accordance with agro-technical standards.

Addressing the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and the hyakims of velayats, the President of the country focused on the importance of strict compliance with the agro-technical requirements by farmers. In view of the warming, preventive pest control measures must be taken in the fields and pastures,.
