Today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, at the invitation of the Turkish side, took part in the inauguration ceremony of Recep Tayyip Erdogan as the newly elected President of the Republic of Türkiye.

It should be noted the progressive dynamics of the Turkmen-Turkish partnership, which is of a strategic nature and successfully developing in a wide range, including in the trade and economic sphere. This is confirmed by the steady growth in the volume of bilateral trade, the participation of Turkish companies in the implementation of transformative programs and various projects deployed in our country, including those aimed at modernizing the infrastructure of the industrial sector.

A significant role in the development of bilateral cooperation is assigned to the Joint Intergovernmental Commission, whose activities are aimed at maximizing the existing impressive partnership potential. The participation of representatives of the leading ministries, departments and business structures of the two countries in business forums and industry exhibitions facilitates the expansion and diversification of productive business ties.

Taking into account the centuries-old relations linking the peoples of the two fraternal countries, close cooperation in the humanitarian sphere is of great importance. In this regard, it should be noted that Days of Culture are held on a regular basis, masters of arts take an active mutual part in creative forums held in both countries. Examples of partnership in this direction are the activities of the Turkmen-Turkish Council for Education, Intergovernmental Agreements on cooperation signed in this field, fruitful contacts established in the field of science. Taking into account the priorities of the state development of both countries, there are also good opportunities for expanding bilateral contacts in tourism and sports.

The participation of the head of Turkmenistan in the inauguration ceremony of the Turkish leader is a clear evidence of the focus of the two friendly countries on deepening a fruitful interstate dialogue, the reliable foundation of which is the commonness of historical, cultural and spiritual roots of the two fraternal peoples.
