An International Beauty Contest of Akhalteke Horses will be Held in Arkadag City

In order to further increase the world glory of our “paradise” horses, being the national treasure and pride of the Turkmen people, as well as in accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan # 12657 “On holding competitions on the occasion of the National Day of the Turkmen Horse” dated November 16, 2012, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Order.

On the occasion of the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse, the document prescribes to hold an international beauty contest of Akhalteke horses on April 27, 2024 in Arkadag city, as well as competitions among artists, sculptors, carpet weavers, jewelers, photographers, publishing workers, designers, television cameramen on the artistic embodiment of the beauty of Akhalteke horses in works of fine and decorative arts, printed output, photographs, on television channels, and the composition of the jury for the above-mentioned competitions has been approved.
