Under the wise leadership of the highly respected President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during the International year of peace and trust, the policy of neutrality of our independent, permanently neutral country, based on good neighbourliness, equality, and mutually beneficial cooperation with all states of the world and authoritative international organisations, will be marked by new achievements. Legal status of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan has become a means for the international community to coordinate global interests within the system of international relations, and is recognised as a value that enhances the honour and glory of our country and elevates the pride and dignity of the Turkmen people. The international authority of permanently neutral Turkmenistan, confidently moving along the path of progress and prosperity, is growing, and its influential role in world politics is strengthening. Priority and important foreign policy initiatives of our country receive enormous support from the international community, primarily from the United Nations Organisation.

Taking into account the enormous personal contribution to strengthening the independence, sovereignty and legal status of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, increasing its international authority in accordance with the principles of permanent neutrality, the direction of foreign policy of our country- the «open door» policy, the doctrine «Dialogue - a guarantee of peace», which is the main foreign policy of the country in international relations, the development of peaceful, friendly and mutually beneficial relations of our Fatherland with the states of the world and international organisations, in the realisation of the potential of Turkmen neutrality in the political, diplomatic, legal, economic, socio-cultural and humanitarian areas, the promotion and implementation of initiatives aimed at ensuring peace, security and sustainable development in the region and the world, the consolidation on a legislative basis of the legal foundations of the policy of peace and trust of Turkmenistan, its norms, main goals, preventive diplomacy, priority areas of domestic and foreign policy of our country, as well as for special services to society and the state, on the basis of numerous proposals received from representatives of the people, large public associations, labour collectives and citizens of our country in the International year of peace and trust, in connection with International neutrality day, the 30^th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, and in accordance with Article 81 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, the Mejlis of Turkmenistan

resolves:

To award the President of Turkmenistan Berdimuhamedov Serdar Gurbangulyyevich with the jubilee medal of Turkmenistan «Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 30 ýyllygyna» and a set of commemorative signs.
