A National Industrial Exhibition of the Republic of Uzbekistan has opened in the Expo Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. During the session of the Government, Vice-premier K. Durdymyradov who supervises the industrial sector reported on the measures for the development of fish farming in the country. The companies of the State Fishery Committee caught 555 tons of fish from the beginning of the year, which exceeds the index of the same period of the last year.

As it was informed by Vice-premier K. Durdymyradov, it is planned to start issuing specialized magazine “Turkmenistan Industry” for the popularization of the achievements of the country in industrial spheres, textile and carpet items, construction materials and chemical products as well as success in fishery. Quarterly publication of the magazine in Turkmen, English and Russian languages is planned to be published from July of this year.

During the session of the Government of March 29, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the improvement of the mechanisms and forms of international cooperation in the promotion of national production in foreign markets, creation of the conditions for the activation of business and encouragement of private initiative for the improvement of the competitiveness of the industrial complex of the country and introduction of advanced practice and innovative technologies in this sphere.
