On January 25, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip around the capital, during which inspected the construction of some important facilities and projects of integrated modernization of social infrastructure of the city as well expressed interest in work for breeding of Turkmen shepherds, which are national heritage of Turkmen people.

National observers, who will monitor the electoral campaign of members of the Halk Maslahaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan in accordance with Article 6 of the Electoral Code of Turkmenistan, were registered.

On January 20, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has visited the capital’s Olympic village and inspected the preparation to coming big international tournaments in our country and training of sportsmen.

Organizational issues for launching a new joint project on strengthening institutional and technical capacity in the SDG implementation to the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan were discussed in the framework of an online meeting with representatives of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Turkmenistan.

On January 18, 2021 the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan announced the registration of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine against coronavirus developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology with the support of the Russian Direct Investment Fund.
