President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov receives President of the Asian Development Bank Takehiko Nakao.

On the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairperson of Mejlis of Turkmenistan received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federative Republic of Brazil Márcia Donner Abreu.

For provision of reliable supply of power energy to consumers, financing of the construction of Ahal – Balkan and Balkan – Dashoguz high-voltage power lines, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution allowing the State Bank of Foreign Economic Affairs to undertake loan agreement of behalf of the beneficiary with the Asian Development Bank. The document assigns the State Energy Corporation “Turkmenenergo” of the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan to enter into relevant local loan agreement with the Bank of Foreign Economic Affairs as well as allows concluding the Project Agreement with the Asian Development Bank.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the participants of the International exhibition and conference, dedicated to the development of education and sports, and expressed belief that the forum would play a significant role in studying the advanced experience, discussing the important issues and contributing to the intensification of the international cooperation in this area.

By the request of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairperson of the Mejlis Gulshat Mammedova received the credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tunisia to Turkmenistan Mohammed Ali Shihi.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution allowing the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management of Turkmenistan to enter addition agreement to the contract with Uzsanoateksport Joint Stock Venture (the Republic of Uzbekistan), which was signed according to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan on March 6, 2017, on procurement of large quantity of agricultural equipment and machinery and on the settlement of the payment.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference session with the participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of number of ministries and epartments and the hyakim of Ashgabat. The agenda included priority objectives of development of the branches of national economy and social and cultural sphere as well as the implementation of integrated reforming programmes.

According to the request of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairperson of the Mejlis G. Mammedova received the credentials of the Ambassador of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Turkmenistan Luvasn Battulga.
