President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Board Chairman of Rönesans Holding Erman Ylycak.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a flight around the capital, having inspected the situation at construction sites and practical implementation of the programmes of social infrastructure and city development. The Head of the State paid special attention to ecological condition of the territories.

On the instruction of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairperson of the Mejlis Gulshat Mammedova received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to Turkmenistan Jan Bori.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference working session with the participation of some Deputy CHarimen of the Cabinet of Ministers as well as with hyakims of the velayats and Ashgabat. The agenda included priority issues of social and economic development of the country, course of agricultural works and number of other objectives of the state life.

On behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, and on his own behalf, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov extended congratulations to Mahathir Mohamad on the occasion of assuming office as Prime Minister of Malaysia.

By the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the State Concern Turkmenhimiya Niyazly Niyazliyev was reprimanded for unsatisfactory performance of his duties and lose of control of the works carried out by the Concern.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan prepares for working visit of Turkmenistan delegation to the Islamic Republic of Iran planned on May 12 – 13. During the visit of Turkmenistan delegation to Iran, it is planned to have number of meetings with profile ministries and to discuss topical issues of Turkmen – Iranian cooperation in key directions.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where the course of fulfilment of the President’s programme of social and economic development of the country and other priority subjects of the state life have been reviewed.

With a view to further develop the partnership between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan and to expand bilateral commercial and economic, scientific, technical and cultural ties, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution approving the membership of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kazakh Commission for Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation from the Turkmen side.

The peoples of our countries withstood the terrible trials shoulder-to-shoulder and made their invaluable contribution to the achievement of Victory. Their heroic feat is a vivid example of valor, patriotism and selfless service to the Homeland.
