Turkmenistan prepares to participate in High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development under the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), which is planned to be held in New York this July.

According to special Decree of the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, grandfather of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Berdimuhamed Annayev was conferred with high state award “Medal of Honour” for personal courage, bravery and valour displayed defending the Motherland and fulfilment of military duty during the great Patriotic War.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held joint session of the Cabinet of Ministers and State Security Council of Turkmenistan where fulfilment of the Programme of the President and number of programmes on social and economic development of the country has been reviewed.

I am confident that the Exhibition-fair will give new impulse to the achievement of high results in activation of trade relations, the greeting message of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the participants of the event says.

According to the Constitution of Turkmenistan, prosecution authorities of our sovereign state make monitoring of strict fulfilment of all laws, legislation acts of the President, Cabinet of Ministers, resolutions of the Mejlis providing the supremacy of the law in the society, - the message of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on occasion of the Day of Prosecution Authorities Personnel says.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference working session with the participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of number of departments and hyakims of the velayats. The agenda included priority objectives of the country’s development.

On behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan as well as on his behalf, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov cordially congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the reelection as the President of the Turkish Republic.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Kurenov Orazmyrat Orazmammedovich is appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the “Turkmenneft” State Concern.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Muhammetmyradov Yazmyrat Muhammetmyradovich is appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the “Turkmengaz” State Concern.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to consider the progress of the implementation of the Presidential programme and other social and economic programmes as well as to discuss some issues of the internal policy of the state.
