By the Order of the President of Turkmenistan, a reprimand was issued to the Minister of Energy, Purchekov, Charymyrat Hyvalyyevich for unsatisfactory exercise of duties of the office and failure to ensure the fulfillment of set tasks.

By the Order of the President of Turkmenistan, a severe reprimand was issued to the chairman of the State Service of Maritime and River Transport, Gurdov, Amanmyrat Tagandurdyyevich for unsatisfactory exercise of duties of the office and failure to ensure the fulfillment of set tasks.

The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution approving the membership of the Inter-departmental Commission for Coordination of Fulfillment of the 2017-2021 National Program to ensure implementation in Turkmenistan of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.

To prevent and control noncommunicable diseases, to increase life expectancy, to promote healthy lifestyle; guided by the measures and proposals outlined in the Ashgabat Declaration on the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases in the context of the WHO Health–2020 policy, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution approving the membership of the National Board for Coordination of Implementation of the 2014-2020 National Strategy on Fulfilling Tasks outlined in the said Ashgabat Declaration.

The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution authorizing the Ministry of Textile Industry to conclude a contract with Cotam Enterprises Ltd. (British Virgin Islands) to design and build in the district of Babadayhan of the province of Ahal of a textile plant equipped with advanced machinery, with an annual capacity of 3300 tons of fine-fibred yarn (compact penye, non-fluffy); 20 million square meters of high-quality sewing fabric including 18 million square meters of dyed fabric; and 3.5 million items of ready-made garments; to improve the surrounding territory; to build external engineering networks and facilities; to train specialists; and to deliver at the company’s expense the spare parts for supplied technological equipment within two years from the commissioning of the textile plant.

Few hours before the sunrise, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Force, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave order over direct video line to Secretary of the State Security Council, Defence Minister Ya. Berdiyev operational combat readiness of military divisions of the Armed Forces in order to check the capability of national army and improvement of combat training of military personnel of all troops.
