President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, signed a Decree under which, for outstanding personal contribution to the strengthening of independence and sovereignty of neutral Turkmenistan; for consolidation of the country’s defense capability and ensuring its security; for exemplary service and dedication to our Fatherland over many years; taking into account special services to the State and the people; and also in honor of the Fatherland Defenders Day, the group of military servicemen and employees of military and law enforcement authorities have been conferred state awards of Turkmenistan.

President of the Republic of Korea, Moon Jae-in, sent a letter thanking the Turkmen leader, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, for the birthday greetings.

President of Turkmenistan severely reprimanded Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Cholukov Serdar Gurbanberdievich for the negligent performance of his duties and the failure to implement the specified tasks.

In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, with the aim to fundamentally modernize the sports sphere, coordinate activities in the sphere of sports and youth policy, and educate patriotic, broad-minded, hardworking, highly cultured youth, the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan was established on the basis of the State Committee for Sports.

Turkmenistan successfully develops relations of friendship and constructive cooperation, both in bilateral and multilateral formats, in the context of implementing the Concept of the Foreign Policy Course for 2017-2023.

President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, extended his profound condolences to the President of the Republic of Korea, Moon Jae-in, over hospital fire in Miryang that led to great loss of life and injuries.

With a view to the careful and rational use of the country's water resources, in accordance with the Turkmen ""Water Code"", the President of Turkmenistan has signed the Order, approving the limits of water use for velayats and etraps in 2018.
