On the outcomes of the talks between President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, a package of ten bilateral documents was signed. In particular, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the State of Kuwait adopted the Memorandum of Mutual Understanding on bilateral political consultations; the Memorandum of Mutual Understanding on cooperation between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Kuwaiti Diplomatic Institute was signed. The Governments of the two countries signed the Agreements on the economic and technical cooperation, on trade cooperation, on the establishment of the joint Turkmen-Kuwaiti commission for cooperation; the Agreement on the abolition of visa requirements for the holders of diplomatic and service / special passports; the Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of culture and arts. The parties also adopted the joint document on the technical support between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development. Moreover, the Memorandum of Mutual Understanding was signed between the Turkmengaz State Concern and the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation; the Memorandum of Mutual Understanding on Cooperation between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
