The city of Mary hosted main Novruz festivities in the square in front of the Cultural Events Center, “Türkmeniň Ak Öýi”. The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme-Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, signed the Decree on military discharge from the Armed Forces and other branches of the military of Turkmenistan of servicemen doing compulsory military service, and the regular conscription for the citizens of Turkmenistan.
