On May 16, the 20th conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World will be held in Ashgabat. At the next meeting on the eve of the Day of the Constitution of Turkmenistan and poetry of Makhtumkuli Fragi, the tasks related to further improvement of the Association's activities in accordance with the requirements of the time will be discussed.

The construction of a complex of buildings and facilities of the Institute of Communal Services for 2 thousand places is being carried out at an accelerated pace. Construction and installation works have been completed, marble cladding, installation of equipment and landscaping are on the way.

In Ashgabat, a new automobile tunnel was opened under thecircular junction at the crossing of ""10 ýyl Abadançylyk"" avenue and Nurmuhammed Andalib Street.

There were delegates of international forums, which annually bring together the equestrian specialists and experts in Ashgabat, like VII session of International Ahalteke Horse Association, International Exhibition and Fair and International IX International Scientific Conference “Turkmen Horse and the World’s Art of Horse Breeding” timed to the Turkmen Horse Day.

By a Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, five horse trainers from the country’s equestrian complexes have been awarded the honorary title of “Türkmenistanyň Halk Atşynasy” (“People’s Horse-breeder of Turkmenistan”) in recognition of their outstanding achievements in the art of horse breeding, popularization and enhancement of Akhalteke horses’ worldwide fame, their big personal contribution to the development of the horse-breeding sector and equestrian sport as well as in honor of Turkmen Horse Day. Ten citizens have earned the honorary title of “Türkmenistanyň At Gazanan Atşynasy” (“Honored Horse-breeder of Turkmenistan”).

The forum brought together famous domestic and foreign horse breeders, scientists, historians, social anthropologist and other specialists from Canada, Switzerland, great Britain, Uruguay, USA, Malaysia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Estonia and Uzbekistan.

International Exhibition and Fair dedicated to the Turkmen Horse Day opened in Ashgabat. Annual branch forum gathered the representatives of dozens of companies from 30 countries.

The presentation of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games and horse racing event organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the PRC and the Wuhan Equestrian Club, timed to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our states, were held in the administrative center of one of the largest provinces of China - Hubei. The main goal of the current activities, carried out within the framework of a broad advertising and information campaign, was to attract attention to the Games in Ashgabat and to form a new image of Turkmenistan as a country of goodwill, health and inspiration.
