The Caspian Sea littoral states are holding a further round of talks on “The Protocol on cooperation in ensuring safe navigation in the Caspian Sea” in the conference hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ashgabat. Among those attending the talks are representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Iran, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.

The President of Turkmenistan has sent his congratulations to participants in an exhibition and a conference timed to coincide with the 9th anniversary of the establishment of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

At the Ashgabat International Neurological Center, Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan organized a two-day scientific-methodical conference, devoted to the peculiarities of the introduction of new methods of diagnosis and treatment, the use of equipment of the “Siemens AG” company.

Today the opening of the Stomatological education and practice centre and the research clinical centre of eye diseases equipped with advanced technologies of the State Medical University of Turkmenistan took place.

In the State Association «Turkmenatlary» the meeting with participation of heads and leading experts of horse-breeding branch, representatives of equestrian sports took place. They discussed issues of development of horse breeding, preservation of the phenomenon of the Akhalteke breed as phenomena of world culture.

The Dental Training and Production Center and the Scientific and Clinical Center for Eye Diseases at the State Medical University of Turkmenistan are equipped with state of art equipment and ready for opening.

A solemn ceremony took place in Ashgabat to lay a foundation of new building to be commissioned in Turkmenistan in the framework of the program that was launched in January of this year for construction of free of charge housing for the population in need of social support.

A congratulatory address delivered by the head of state says that showing deep reverence towards mothers and due respect to women is a centuries-old national tradition of the people of Turkmenistan, handed down from generation to generation. Folk epic poems (destan), wise proverbs and sayings, lullabies, beautiful wedding songs, national jewelry testify to respect for working women, who are devoted to their native country, their people and the sacred family hearth.

In the conference hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, devoted to the celebration of the International Women's Day, there was a ceremony of honoring mothers of many children. By the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, the honorary title ""Ene Myahri"" this year was awarded to more than two hundred and eighty of our compatriots.

A wonderful concert has been held today at the Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Center in honor of our countrywomen. Among those in attendance were labor veterans, foremost workers, activists of public organizations, mothers of large families, awarded the honorary title of “Ene Myahri”, winners of the “Woman of the Year” Contest, and other artistic competitions.
