On 15-16 January, the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will make a working visit to Islamabad where the Turkmen-Pakistani foreign policy consultations will take place. Issues of development of the interstate relations and the work of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission will be placed on the meeting’s agenda. Special emphasis will be placed on implementation of the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India pipeline project and other important joint projects, particularly, those in the power industry and telecommunication, transport and communication. Several bilateral meetings are scheduled to take place as part of the visit. Strengthening the fruitful partnership with our neighbors in the Asian region, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan being one of them, stands among the key vectors of the foreign policy course of neutral Turkmenistan.
