On behalf of the Government and the people of Afghanistan, and on my own behalf, it is with great pleasure that I extend to Your Excellency and the people of Turkmenistan my heartfelt best wishes on the occasion of the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, states the letter from the Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah. I ask the Almighty to bestow upon all Muslims the spirit of brotherhood and close cooperation between the Islamic countries towards new achievements, as well as well-being, progress and peace. I trust in the further strengthening and expansion of the friendly relations existing between our countries, stresses the letter.
