Turkmen wrestlers continue successful performance in the World Martial Arts Games

Sportsmen of Turkmenistan national team won another 7 various medals at the World Martial Arts Games in Chungju (The Republic of Korea). Student of the fourth grade of Turkmen State Institute of Physical Training and Sports Zarina Abdyrahmanova, student of the fourth grade of Turkmen State Financial Institute Rozymyrat Medov and third grade student of Magtumguly Turkmen State University Nazar Durdiyev have become the prize winners in Kazakh kurash. Jamal Ovlyakuliyeva, the second grade student of Turkmen State Institute of Physical Training and Sports, finishes the three of the best in this discipline. In the fight for bronze medal, she has demonstrated her skills and became stronger the representative from the Republic of Korea. Second and fourth grade students of Turkmen State Institute of Physical Training and Sports Gulshat Nasyrova (57 kg) and Dinara Halliyeva (63 kg) won silver medals. G. Nasyrova took over the sportswomen from the People’s Republic of Mongolia and the Kingdom of Thailand while D. Halliyeva left no chance too representatives of Uzbekistan and the host of the World Martial Art Games – the Republic of Korea. Third grade student of Turkmen State Institute of Physical Training and Sports Maria Lokhova was not able to go the final in the weight category of 70 kg. Having taken over the athlete from Mongolia, she took the third place on the podium.
