Today, a gala concert of the participants of the final round of the children's music and song contest "Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri" on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of sacred independence, was held in the Türkmeniň ak öýi building, located in the Nowruz ýaýlasy valley of the Ak Bugday etrap.

Before the concert, the participants of the final round laid beautiful bouquets of flowers at the Monument of Independence - a majestic architectural symbol that immortalized a fateful historical event - the acquisition of sovereignty by our Motherland.

Then, in a majestic building in the form of a yurt, the final concert of the contestants took place, which turned into a bright celebration of art.

The event traditionally began with the performance of the National Anthem of Turkmenistan. The audience listened with great attention to the welcoming address of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the participants of the contest “Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri”. In his message, the head of state expresses his firm conviction that happy and talented children will always sing the greatness of our Motherland - independent neutral Turkmenistan, all the beautiful things that happen in the country and please the people with their sonorous, creatively meaningful songs.

In the final, individual performers, dance, song and music groups and folk art ensembles competed - rising "stars", which in the future will increase the glory of national art.

The program of this concert included a variety of works designed to demonstrate not only all the facets of the outstanding abilities of the contestants, but also the richness of the national musical culture. Popularization of folk and pop songs contributes to the development of musical and song art, which is one of the main goals of the nationwide children's show.

As a result of the performances, to the applause of the public, the names of the winners of the children's musical competition were announced, who were awarded valuable prizes and diplomas of the winners of the competition on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan. All young artists became owners of memorable souvenirs designed to inspire them to further self-improvement and achieve their cherished goal on their creative path.
