Speaking at a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the key tasks in terms of implementing the state youth policy.

In this context, the importance of increasing the number of preschool institutions and secondary schools, improving work with children with disabilities, improving the qualifications of teachers working with them, and developing an advanced methodology for scientific, educational and industrial interaction in higher education institutions was noted.

At the same time, the need for appropriate work to perpetuate monuments to outstanding personalities was emphasised in order to educate the younger generation in the spirit of pride in national values, customs and traditions, based on our humane principles. Hero-Arkadag also emphasised the importance of fundamental study and scientific substantiation based on a new theory of culture, literature and glorious history, originating from the depths of millennia. Particular emphasis was placed on the need to strengthen the position of the city of Arkadag as a world centre of science and education, to create an international research centre here for the popularization and study of the ancient, medieval, modern and contemporary history of Turkmenistan, archaeological, architectural monuments, and the state policy being implemented.
