Asian Chess Federation named President of Turkmenistan «Man of the Year»

Ceremony of awarding the President of Turkmenistan with the diploma conferring the honorary title ""Man of the Year"" was held during the congress ""Asian Games 2017: International Sport Cooperation for Peace and Progress"" in Avaza. The diploma was solemnly presented by the head of the Asian Chess Federation Sheikh Sultan Khalifa Sultan Shahbut Al-Nahyan. A representative forum that brought together delegates from the countries participating in the 5th Asian Indoors and Martial Arts Games, the heads of Olympic Council of Asia, international sports federations and organizations, and honorary guests - well-known politicians, is timed for World Health Day. The congress will consider the importance of the upcoming Asian Games in Ashgabat for the national sport and interstate cooperation, from the complex of social and economic spheres to the implementation of the peacekeeping strategy of Turkmenistan on regional and global scale.
