Turkmen futsal players are silver medalists of the international tournament

As part of preparation for the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, on June 1-4 the Japanese city of Kobe hosted international futsal competitions in “A” group “Futzal Kobe Festa 2017”, where the national team of Turkmenistan won the second place. The tournament was attended by the national teams of Croatia (under 25 years of age), Japan (up to 25 years of age), as well as futsal clubs such as the Galaxy (Australia), the Gina Mag (Republic of Korea) and Kobe (Japan). In a first meeting with the team of Croatia, the national team of Turkmenistan won with the score 1: 0. The second match, where our players competed with the Japanese national team, ended in a draw (3: 3). Thus, our compatriots gained the right to compete in the next round of the competitions. In the final round, the team of Turkmenistan lost to the futsal club of Japan “Kobe” with the score 2: 4 and was awarded silver medals.
