Today in the morning, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan with an official visit.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers where the key vectors of foreign strategy as well as social and economic development of the country, preparation to coming remarkable dates and other events have been discussed.

“I congratulate you on the International Women's Day! I believe that the celebrations held on occasion of this holiday will put smiles of the faces of our lovely women, will inspire them and fill their hearts with the pride in the Fatherland”, emphasized President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in his congratulatory address.

On behalf of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Vice-premier, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov conveyed congratulations and presented gifts to women – heads of diplomatic missions and representative offices of international organizations accredited in our country on occasion of International Women Day. The event took place in the building of the foreign department of our country on March 7.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference working session of the Cabinet of Ministers where outcomes of work of branches of national economy for the last two months and other important subjects of the stat life have been reviewed.

In order to create favorable conditions for the celebration of the International Women's Day, as well as in accordance with part 2, Article 81 of the Labor Code of Turkmenistan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree, authorizing:

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, authorizing the “Türkmenawtoulaglary” Agency to conclude a contract with Hyundai Corporation (Republic of Korea) for the purchase of 400 Hyundai All New Super Aero City buses, as well as the spare parts and consumables for them.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, instructing to organize the national planting campaign in the country on March 21, 2020.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, authorizing the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection to conclude agreements with relevant foreign companies for the purchase of spare parts, lubricants, consumables for grain and rice harvesters, arable tractors, as well as wheels for trucks and tractors.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working session with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers G. Mushikov, who supervises the economic block and Chairman of the Central Bank M. Annadurdiyev. Practical measures aimed at solution of objectives on the development of financial and economic sphere were discussed at the session.
