President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular vide conference session with the participation of the Chairperson of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, hyakims of the velayats and the capital. Different matters of the state life, development of the regions as well as the course of agricultural works have been reviewed at the session.

Commonwealth of Independent States election observation mission, arrived on invitation of Turkmenistan for the Mejlis Deputies election, and its Headquarters started monitoring of the election campaign.

On March 1 – 2 Tashkent hosted the 14th session of Joint Turkmen - Uzbek Committee for trade and economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. Turkmenistan delegation chaired by Vice-premier B. Annameredov arrived in Uzbek capital for participation in its work. Heads and representatives of the ministries and departments of two countries took part in the meeting.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where outcomes of work of the branches of national economy for the past two months have been summed up, reports of relative leaders have been listened to and number of urgent issues of the state life has been reviewed.

At the Government session that took place on 2 March, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated that the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, will host the first Summit of Heads of State of Central Asia in March. The President noted that, under previously reached agreements, the delegation of Turkmenistan will attend the upcoming forum.

President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution that approves the Program for Improvement of Employment System for Young Professionals in Turkmenistan for 2018-2020, and the Action Plan for its implementation.

The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution allowing ministries, sectoral agencies and the capital’s administration to conclude contracts with local construction enterprises to design and construct modern buildings and facilities along Magtymguly avenue, between Taslama and Tehran streets, to improve surrounding territories and to build and modernize motor roads.
