President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conducted a videoconference meeting with the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, the hyakims of Mary and Lebap Velayat and the heads of the ministries and departments concerned. The priority tasks of implementing the social and economic development strategy, the measures taken to celebrate the remarkable dates in the national calendar, the draft documents and other important issues of the domestic policy were discussed during the meeting.

The agenda of video-conference was centered on considering the priorities for further implementation of the country’s socio-economic development strategy, measures taken for celebrating the upcoming remarkable dates of the national calendar, the drafts of some documents, and other focal issues of state.

Citizens of Turkmenistan are anticipating the special publishing premieres that will take place on the eve of the upcoming remarkable events in the life of the country. These are particularly the new books that have recently come from the pen of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

On June 13, the Turkmen capital hosted the talks between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov and Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon who had arrived in our country on an official visit the day before.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree “On acceptance to the citizenship of Turkmenistan”, having admitted to the citizenship of Turkmenistan 361 persons, residing permanently on the territory of Turkmenistan and having no citizenship.

On June 11, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov convened a regular Cabinet session to consider the important issues of state life, as well as some draft documents.

On June 8, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov conducted a working video-selector meeting with participation of some Cabinet Deputies Chairman, velayats’ and Ashgabat city’s khyakims and heads of some agencies. The priorities associated with the implementation of large-scale national programs, the situation in the agro-industrial complex of the country and other important issues of public life were considered during the meeting.

President of Turkmenistan received Chairman of the “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” Joint-Stock Company’s Administrative Board.

On May 29, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mr. Abdul Malik, who presented the credentials to the head of state.
